Gift Registry Builder
Below is a list of items you can add to your registry or wishlist! I hope you build a set based on what you’ll actually use vs what is customary to have. I want you to be happy with your pottery for a very long time! There are 2 different plate shapes and lots of bowl and mug shapes. Don’t forget your serving dishes, baking dishes and all the little counter top goodies. All item listings are pictured in their middle stage, they have no glaze on them yet. This is so you have a blank slate to imagine the colors you want. You will get to choose from a list of glaze combinations for each item - they can be all the same, all different, or somewhere in between.
It is helpful to decide on glazes before adding to your cart, it will save you having to go back and forth. You can find examples of the glaze combinations and how they will be applied to the dishes here.
Please check availability before building your list!

Registration and Deposit - you’ll add the Registration/Deposit Listing to the cart and fill out the form with all the profile information. This will give me the info I need to get you started and your deposit will hold your spot. You will get the $250 back in some form - it will either be refunded if all of your items are purchased by the Registry Close Date or it will go towards the remaining un purchased items.
You will choose your items and add them to the cart as if you were purchasing. As you add items to the cart you will be promoted to choose the glaze combination you want for that item or group of items. It would be wise to visit the Glaze Test Tiles before choosing your items to decide on your colors. Remember to take note of the number assigned to the color combo you like.
When everything you want for the registry is in your cart - enter the code the CODE: REGISTRY at check out and you won’t be charged for any of items, only the deposit. After you check out, I will have all the info I need to build your registry page on my site containing all of your chosen pottery items. You can later send your guests to this registry page to purchase gifts.
In a weeks time, I will contact you with the link to your registry page. At that time you will make any final decisions and confirm all of the items on the list. This is the only time where you can add or delete items. After this confirmation there can be no editing of your list because…
After your confirmation, I will MAKE ALL THE ITEMS ON YOUR LIST. Everything will be made especially for you. Everything will be photographed, updated on your page and ready to ship by your chosen Registry Open Date. Please register at least 4 months prior to your desired Registry Open Date
The Registry Open Date is my goal completion date and your date to share the link and shopping info with all your guests. This would typically be either on your shower invite or publish it on your wedding website - don’t forget to tell them its there, be nice and loud about it so everything gets purchased:) haha
The Registry Close Date is 4 months from your chosen Open Date. - Your shower and chosen Registry Close Date will pass, everyone will be finished shopping for you.
After the Registry Close Date, I will contact you with the list of remaining items if any, and the final balance. The final balance will include any shipping fees for those items if you choose to ship. You will be responsible for the remaining items. You will be required to pay the balance within two weeks of the Registry Closing Date.
Again, your initial deposit of $250 will either go to this final balance or it will be returned to you.
You’ll send the remaining payment and I’ll send your remaining pots. You’ll set it all up in your home and send lots of pictures of you and your new spouse and new pots living a new happy married life! omgosh! Yaaay!

IDEALLY 4 MONTHS PRIOR TO YOU SHARING YOUR REGISTRY INFO.
I will need your registration information and deposit no later than 4 months prior to the date you plan to share your registry information, your Registry Open Date. (Likely this info is included on your shower invitation or linked to a wedding website, so 4 months prior to your invitation going out to guests) I want to have everything made, photographed, listed and ready to ship by the time your guests are ready to shop your registry list. If shoppers have to wait for weeks for shipping they will be more likely to buy off another registry list. We don’t want that! Especially if you want that deposit back to add to your honeymoon fund!!
If it’s more than 4 mos prior, that’s fine too, I’m happy to plan ahead. Space is limited so please send an email to check availability before sending Registration & Deposit.

First add the Registration & Deposit listing to your cart, it will collect all the info I need to build your profile. The deposit is $250 that will be returned to you in some form. It will either be refunded if all of your items are purchased by the Registry Close Date or will be applied to any remaining items left on your list at the Registry Closing Date.

GIFT REGISTRY SHOPPING CAN ONLY BE OPEN FOR A 4 MONTH SPAN.
On the registration form, you will choose a Registry Open Date - this is the date your guests can potentially start shopping for your gifts. This maybe the date your planning to send out your invites (which typically have gift registry info on them) or the date you share the link on your wedding website. (Ill share the link with you when I finish your page so you can connect it to your wedding website if thats your thing.)
The Registry Open Date will be my target finish date. I need to know when your guests are going to start shopping so I can have everything finished, photographed and listings updated and ready to ship. If people have to wait for shipping or cant clearly see what they’re buying or have to wait weeks for shipping they will likely shop somewhere else. And no no, wont want that! I want to be ready for you:)
The Registry Close Date is when shopping your gift registry is no longer available. I will hold your items but the Registry page will come down.
This date will likely be your shower date or a bit after, or maybe even the wedding date- around the time your guests won’t be shopping for you anymore.
Help Deciding: When planning your Open and Close dates it can be helpful to the estimate the timeframe when your guests will most likely be shopping for you. Have your shower & wedding dates in mind - if the shower is the primary gift giving date, guests will be purchasing 1-2 mos before that date. You can choose to give them extra time after the shower to make purchases incase they plan to gift items at the wedding or more time before the shower if your invites are going out early.
If you are having trouble sorting this out - I’m happy to help in anyway I can. Wedding timelines can be stressful!

You may add items with the understanding that the turn around time for additional pieces may take 4-6 weeks. But you CAN NOT REMOVE ITEMS after confirming. I will be making everything you confirm and you will be responsible for purchasing them at the Registry Closing Date if they have not yet been paid for.
-
Ideally you get it all back! If all of your registry items are purchased by your chosen Registry Close Date I will refund your deposit!
If there are remaining items on your wish list after the Registry Close Date- (Everything was specifically made for you and your set) You will be responsible for purchasing them. Your deposit will go towards those pieces and any shipping fees and you will be responsible for the remaining balance.
If there is any part of the deposit left, it will be returned to you.
-
It is important to know that I will be recording size, weight and glaze combination of everything I make for you. Even though careful notes are taken, there will always be a slight variance among pieces in your set. Thats not a bad thing.
That said, if you place an order to replace any broken items over the years or would just like to add to your set - I will not be able to replicate any exact items and can not guarantee all the same materials used in the originals will still be available at the time of reordering.
I will do everything I can to match your items. We can always come up with a solution that bridges the differences and makes them feel like they still belong together. If you have any questions on this topic please feel free to reach out before committing.
…Mass produced items also get discontinued at some point too so this cant be too alarming…right?
-
After your items are confirmed, I will build you an individual registry page with all of your desired items. I will send you the link of that page to share with your guests.
You can include the link in your list of registry stores on a shower invite or you can directly link it to an existing Wedding Website you have already created.
Inquire about Clay In Common postcards to add into your shower invite envelopes!
———————
Your registry page will be built with the exact number of items you have chosen.
For example if you chose 12 dinner plates a guest may chose to buy any number until they are all purchased.
If a shopper is trying to add 12 plates to their cart but 6 were already purchased by someone else, only 6 will be available.
-
I have made all of your items to your specifications for your set, just for you! If any items remain on the list after the Registry Close date - I will hold them for you and you will be responsible for purchasing them no later than 2 weeks after the Registry Close Date.
