Snowflake Ornament. 3.75" #0015
This one of a kind ornament was made w love!
I started making these last year, they are the only item I make that I slip cast. Slip casting is a process where liquid clay is poured in and back out of a plaster mold to achieve a hollow form. I do this myself. Once I take the form our of the mold, the edges and seams need to be cleaned up and then its fired fir the first time.
Then I paint with a colored slip, again, liquid clay, and hand draw each snowflake design by hand(w a tiny squeeze bottle of white slip). No stencils, transfers or measuring…just lots of time:)
I hope you enjoy them, there are no two identical!
Perfect for your ornament swaps this holiday!!
